I think that many people readily dismiss Christianity wholesale because they cannot tolerate the fabled past. The apparent outlandishness of those stories gives some comfort to wholesale dismiss the creed. In doing thus, they risk missing the metaphor, the very purpose of the story. The themes and motifs are integral to humanaity for thousands of years. It seems a radical stance to me to discard something of enduring virture because you have not yet resolved it with the things you understand. That is similar to the adherant who readily accepts recitals without acumen.

cook the rice,onions, and beans seperately in the usual way. spread out basmati to cool and dry and then fry until bottom is lightly browned. add in sausage to heat them slightly, then onion and beans until all warm. Move to a bowl and mix in spices. Plate and garnish with parsley.

Memorize Daily

Some years back I played an online test of the names of African Countries until I had memorized the entire continent of states. There was not much practical purpose to doing so, but it helped me unwind at nights for about a week.

With the right system in place for your preferred sensations of memorization you could be memorizing catalogs of new information in little bites daily with very little effort. For me here is what the system looks like:

After note positions, I would memorize the names of trees, names of composers and their work, local musicians, emerging technologies, vocabulary from many languages, then perhaps further into biology.

Constructing and decontructing PDFs is a often-faced requirement in my work. While I have not had occassion to use PDF Sandwich, it look like it fills a useful tool that performs optical character recognition on scanned books. I'll just leave this here for later.

How Am I Supposed to Organized Audio Files?

I am looking for a tool that helps manage audio recordings. I need to extract, combine, and manipulate the searched sound results while still working within the context of a catalog of music recorded from different sources in different formats.

Booth brother saved Lincoln son at the Jersey Train Depot

Notorious assassin John Wilkes Booth was an accalaimed actor of the period. He was born into an acting family, his brother Edwin Booth was a famous Shakespearean performer of the era. As fate would have it, Edwin saved the life of young Robert Lincoln at a train platform in New Jersey in late 1863 or ealy 1864. The President's son had fallen between a slow moving train and the platform, only to be quickly lifted to safety by the elder Booth brother whom young Robert knew by face, such was the aclaim of the actor.

Of course in 1865 Abraham Lincoln would be assassinated by the Confederate sympathizing brother the Friday following Lee's surrender. Robert Todd Lincoln this only Lincoln child of four sons to survive to adulthood and had a distingished career in law, serving as Secretary of War and Ambassador to the UK.
